BUSINESS POLICIES

​BUSINESS POLICIES
Services:
  1. Our normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 24 hours’ notice is requested for all errands. Service requests made outside of our business hours will be verified the next business day.
  2. An “errand” in all Go-To Concierge, GTC, documents includes, but is not limited to, meetings, tasks, errands, organizing, virtual assistance, assignments, commissions, follow up consultations, delivery, hosting, and conferences for any purpose.
  3. Our regular service area includes: New Hope, Solebury, Doylestown, Upper Makefield, Lambertville, and surrounding areas.  Requests for service outside of our service area will be agreed to at our discretion.  Service requests can be made via phone or email.  Our phone number is 267.417.4060 and our email address is thegotoconcierge@gmail.com.
Fees:
  1. An initial client consultation, for 1 hour, is free.  Any additional time will be charged at our hourly rate in 15 minute increments.
  2. There is a 1-hour minimum for all services requested that require travel from the GTC home office to a secondary location.  Our time starts from when we leave the GTC home office and ends once the errand is complete, unless the errand has taken us outside of our service area. 
  3. Should the errand take us outside of our service area, our time will not stop until we are back at the GTC home office. 
  4. Retainer/Membership fees are non-refundable, to be paid promptly, and any unused time will not be carried over.  For all new accounts, retainer/membership fees will be collected at the beginning of start of service.
  5. Late fees of 2% interest will begin to accrue 7 days after service has been completed.
  6. A fee of $50 will be assessed on any and all returned checks.
  7. If the client has no retainer or credit card on file, purchases made on behalf of a client will incur a 10% processing fee.
  8. After hour rates are billed at time and a half.  Weekend rates are billed at double time.  Holiday rates are billed at triple time.  Go-To Concierge recognizes the following holiday’s: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas; as well as April 17th and Mother’s Day (US).
Payment:
  1. Agreed upon fees owed to Go-To Concierge are to be paid prior to start of service, unless other arrangements have been made.
  2. Client is responsible for all costs related to requests and payment is due before service will take place.  These costs include items like, but not limited to, dry cleaning, automobile repair, catering, and personal shopping items.
  3. Errand Service accounts can be set up so that Go-To Concierge will pay for any purchases made on your behalf via an account retainer or placing a credit card on file.
  4. The following payment methods are currently accepted: Credit card, checks, money orders, cash, Venmo, or PayPal.  Check is our preferred form of payment.
  5. Client purchases made with clients’ credit card, or retainer, on account will not be charged a processing fee.
Safety:
  1. Go-To Concierge will not perform any work on Client’s behalf that is illegal or puts it or its independent agents in unreasonable danger.
  2. Go-To Concierge will not perform services in the late evening or early morning hours unless other Errand Service personnel is accompanying the designated Errand Runner or other arrangements will be made.
Employment Status
  1. Go-To Concierge is a licensed business and is a subcontractor of the Client.
  2. Client has no responsibility to withhold any taxes from or provide any benefits to Errand Service.
  3. Independent agents used to accomplish a project are not considered employees.  Go-To Concierge will make every effort to contract with competent, honest, and trustworthy individuals.
  4. Contacting an errand runner directly is a violation of their contract with Go-To Concierge, will jeopardize their standing with Go-To Concierge, and will be considered a violation of your agreement and services may be discontinued. Unless instructed to do so for collaboration of service.
  5. Should services be discontinued due to a violation of your agreement, all fees paid will be forfeited.
Surcharges:
  1. The following surcharges will occur: $15 per hour with 3 hours or less notice.  $20 will also be added to the bill for same day requests.  All surcharges are in addition to regular hourly charges.
  2. If Go-To Concierge is requested to make a separate trip to pick up or drop off a key/set of keys or payment at the Client’s home or place of business, Client may be charged an additional $10 fee.
Cancellation:
  1. Cancellation of services requires a 24 hour notice via phone or email. If less than a 24 notice is given a $50 cancellation fee will apply.
  2. If no notice is given Client will be charged for the entirety of the errand.
Confidentiality:
  1. Go-To Concierge will not at any time sell or exchange our client information to outside sources.
  2. Vendors will be provided with only the information required to complete a specific task.
  3. Discretion will be strictly adhered to by Go-To Concierge and all employees.
Liability:
  1. Go-To Concierge will not be held liable for any damages that the third party incurs if a third party:
    1. Damages Client’s items (i.e. dry cleaners, plumber damages wall while at Client’s home to repair leaky pipe, etc.)
    2. Is negligent, in any way, (i.e. food poisoning from lunch deliveries, lost pet from broken fence, etc.)
    3. Has access to Client’s home while client is away, and Go-To Concierge is not there.
  2. Go-To Concierge is not responsible for any damages caused by a pet of the Client while in our care.
Satisfaction Guarantee:
  1. Go-To Concierge offers its clients satisfaction guarantee on all services rendered.
  2. Requests for refund must be made within 3 days of when service was rendered and include the date of the services as well as the service performed.
  3. If you are not satisfied with any of your service, Go-To Concierge will refund your service fee.
